Reports To: Food Service Manager and Director of Food Service
Work Schedule: hours per day vary (between 4 to 5.75 hours per day; times vary (dependent upon location), school calendar year

 

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Assists in any area of food preparation and service in the school kitchen and cafeteria.
  • Maintains kitchen and dining area in a safe and sanitary condition
  • Practices excellent customer service and is responsible for understanding federal and state procedures for claiming meals, including operation of the point of sale system
  • Education and Experience
  • High school graduate or GED equivalent
  • Able to work cooperatively with fellow staff and children
  • Excellent Customer Service
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • School food service experience
  • Food safety training
  • Commercial kitchen equipment operation
  • Cashier experience
  • Excellent basic math skills
  • Must include resume and cover letter with online application

 

Salary and Benefits
Payment Type: Hourly rate per contract


Benefits: Per Agreement with MCAS and MCCA
