Reports to: Tech II, Team Leader, and/or Manager

 

Summary

 

Food Service Substitutes are used as needed to fill in for permanent employees who are absent. Substitutes are responsible for assisting in the preparation and service of school meals. The employee is responsible for strictly following all food safety procedures, practicing excellent customer service, understanding serving sizes and portion tools as specified in production records, general cleaning, dishwashing and other duties as assigned.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Physical Requirements

 

Lifting (up to 50 pounds), sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, grasping, ability to communicate with others (vocal or written), and visual acuity (ability to see at a level which allows reading of numbers and text, operation of equipment, inspection of machines, etc.).

 

 

Education Requirements

 

High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Salary:    $12.00 per hour
